About Our Bottle

Why ‘The Natural Bottle’?

In the face of growing environmental concerns surrounding plastic pollution, BOS has emerged as promising alternative to conventional petrochemical-based plastics for container applications

Produced by microorganisms, BOS is a biodegradable and biocompatible material that can easily be recycled. Significantly, recent advancements enable the utilization of organic waste as a feedstock, diminishing the reliance on primary crops. By carefully selecting the monomers incorporated into the polymer chain during synthesis, scientists from The Water Company tailored the properties of BOS to meet the needs for container applications.

Unlike conventional plastics that break down into microplastics, BOS completely degraded by microorganisms, leaving no harmful microplastics and toxics behind. BOS’s bio- degradability and compatibility with marine environments, is a crucial advantage in combating microplastic pollution, coupled with their reduced carbon footprint, are key market drivers for The Natural Bottle.
